He is now a United States Paralympic athlete, eight-time Paralympic Track and Field international medalist, world record holder and three-time American record holder.

Alana Nichols

During a snowboarding trip in 2000, Alana attempted a backflip but over-rotated and landed back-first on a rock. It took eight hours of surgery to reconstruct her back. The injury left her paralysed from the waist down.

skiing from the USA.

Anthony Trucks

After being given away into

foster care at 3 years old, he was

adopted into an all-white poor family at 14. Having had a promising start as an NFL athlete, he suffered a career-ending injury early on and subsequently opened his own gym to support his family. After nearly going bankrupt and his marriage failing, he was able to turn his life around.

Nowadays, Anthony acts as a successful transformational identity coach.

Jane suffered from PCOS and
